Connecting trade

Historically, Qiannan played an important role as a major route along the Southern Silk Road to the sea and a former trade route connecting Sichuan, Guizhou, Xiang, and Yunnan in Qianzhong, attracting merchants and traders and facilitating the flow of goods and services.

Today, Qiannan’s transportation network is well-developed, with seamless connections via air, rail, road, and river transport.
